The Museo Fortuny presents Italy’s first major monographic exhibition of Austrian sculptor Erwin Wurm. Since the 1970s, Wurm has radically expanded the concept of sculpture by blurring the lines between art and daily life, frequently using clothing in ways that echo the legacy of Mariano and Henriette Fortuny.
The exhibition features his famous One Minute Sculptures—where viewers follow instructions to become fleeting, living art using everyday objects—alongside his signature anthropomorphic and expanded works, including distorted cars, houses, and abstract shapes.
Open daily (except Tuesday) Hours: 10: 00 – 18:00 (17:00 Nov-March). Last entrance 1 hour before closing.
During the summer period, from Friday 1 May to Saturday 26 September 2026, every Friday and Saturday the Museum will be open until 20.00.
